
Obituary for Arthur A. Brubaker
Winnebago - Arthur A. Brubaker, 90, of Winnebago, died Friday afternoon, November 30, 2007, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born August 7, 1917, in Chicago, the son of Arthur and Mildred (Giles) Brubaker. Graduated from Hirsch High School and Woodrow Wilson Business College, both in Chicago. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Italy during WWII. Arthur worked in the inspection division of Sundstrand Machine Tool for over 30 years.
Arthur is lovingly survived by his wife, Merna of Winnebago; daughter, Judy (Wayne) Vetterneck of Lac du Flambeau, Wis. and Judy's family; brother, Robert (Jeanne) Brubaker of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Robert's family; and special friend, Iya Mortenson of Durand.

Graveside Service is at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2007, in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Dwight, with the Rev. Steve Pearce, pastor of Evans Methodist Church in Rockford, officiating.
