
Rockford - Beverly A. McCray Davis, 73, of Rockford, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 8, 1943, in Rockford, the daughter of Earl S. and Myrtle M. (Falconer) McCray. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 1962. Beverly was a Rockford Register Star newspaper carrier for 15 years and then a receptionist at Muller-Pinehurst Dairy for 32 years. She was a member of the Navy Club Ship #1 in Rockford. Beverly loved everything Elvis, enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, working mind puzzles and playing cards with family and friends or on the computer.
Beverly is lovingly survived by her life partner, Frank Reynolds of Rockford; children, Bobby Davis of Winnebago, Debra Demus of Rockford and Gary (Sue) Davis of Winnebago; grandchildren, Megan and Samantha "Sam" Davis, Easton Demus, and Jordan and Courtney Davis; Frank's children, David, Ron, and Joy Reynolds and their families; sister, Barbara (Glen) Hazzard of Seward; brothers, Richard (Janet) McCray of Winnebago, Roger McCray of Rockford and Ronald (Lori) McCray of Loves Park; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sister-in-law, Patricia McCray; nephew, Alan McCray; niece, Cheri McCray; and Frank's son, Daniel Reynolds.

Service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Larry Moody, pastor of Burritt Community Church, Rockford, officiating. Burial in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2016, in the funeral home.
