Leaf River – Bonnie Jean Moore, 78, of Leaf River, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 28, 1940 in Rockford, the daughter of Frederick Carl and Angelina Cecillia (Stefanick) Kimpel. Bonnie married Gerald “Jerry” Alfred Moore on March 22, 1958 in Rockford. She was a member of the Byron Seniors Group.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Richard (Justine) Moore of Leaf River, Randy (Gaylynn) Moore of Byron; daughter, Jeannine (Rick) Harms of Leaf River; grandchildren, Brooke (Ben) Covell of Winnebago, Brittany (Andy) Stavnem of Byron, Ashley (Josh) Gardner of Winnebago, Kyle (Diamond) Harms of Winnebago, Sara Moore of Rockford, Billy Moore of Byron; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bob Falgiatano of Rockford; two nieces; special friends, Ted (Jette) Hartman of Leaf River.
Bonnie is predeceased by her husband Jerry Moore; sister, Patricia Falgiatano; special friend, Roger Whippler.
Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago with Pastor Randy Snider of the Cornerstone Family Church in Byron officiating. Interment at Pecatonica Cemetery in Pecatonica. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
