
Obituary for Bradley C. Schwengels
Rockford - Bradley C. Schwengels, 51, of Rockford, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, in UW Hospital, Madison, after a short illness. Born March 15, 1963, in Rockford, the son of Clarence E. and Lucille K. (Swanson) Schwengels. Graduated from Auburn High School in 1981. A shop foreman at Pierce Laminated Products, Bradley worked there for over 33 years, beginning employment while in high school. He enjoyed woodworking and repurposing wood furniture.
Bradley is lovingly survived by his sons, William and Thomas Schwengels of Rockford; sisters, Linda (Michael) Prentice of Cape Coral, Fla., Bonnie (Daryl) Cosgrove of Beloit, Wis. and Janet Kamholtz of Rockford; sister-in-law, Margaret Schwengels of Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Fred and Larry Schwengels; and sisters, Betty Taylor, Carol Flood and Nancy Radloff.

Service is at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Robert H. Rub Jr., retired pastor formerly at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rockford/Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Byron, officiating. Burial in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the funeral home.
