Obituary for Charles W. Crowley
Hartland, Wis. - Charles W. Crowley, 82, of Hartland, Wis., formerly of Rockford, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008. Born December 23, 1925, the son of Charles and Elva (Conover) Crowley. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was a purchasing agent in the steel manufacturing industry. Charles was a member of the Brookfield Presbyterian Church and the University of Kansas Alumni Club.
Charles is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Helen; children, Scott (Marie) Crowley of Oconomowoc, Wis., and Kathryn (Robert) Schutt of Hartland; stepson, Robert (Crystal) Douglas of Winnebago; eight grandchildren, Anna Claire and Madeline Crowley, Kendon, Tanner and Devin Schutt, and Shanna, Magdalene and Ryan Douglas; brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Mildred Bridgeland of Winnebago; and other relatives and friends.
Charles was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara on May 12, 1989, and sister, Marion Lanman.

Service is at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2008, in Middle Creek Presbyterian Church, 12473 Montague Road, Winnebago with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time; the Rev. Anita Stuart-Steva will officiate. Burial in Middle Creek Cemetery, in Winnebago. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2008, in Brookfield Presbyterian Church, 1485 N. Brookfield Road, Brookfield, Wis., with visitation from 5:30 p.m. until service time.
