Dawn and Calvin have two sons, Christopher and Benjamin, and two loving daughters-in-law, Jessica and Molly. Her happiest times were spending time with and attending activities of her five grandchildren, Ella, Kane, Hailey, Maci, and Lincoln. Another favorite hobby of her own was scrapbooking for her sons’ athletic achievements. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Pecatonica. She was an avid sports fan, supporting her sons, grandchildren, and local high school teams.
Thank you so much to the doctors and nurses at Mercy Oncology Department and Mercy Hospice Care, they are special people.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren as well as her three siblings Lisa (Alan) Mera, Kathy Kowalewski, and Mark Kowalewski; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
