Winnebago - Debra K. Pearson, 46, of Winnebago, died Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008, in her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 7, 1961, in Rockford, the daughter of Joe Jennings and Catherine Jamison. She attended Harlem schools. Deb married Jeffrey D. Pearson on February 5, 1983, in the Church on the Side of the Road in Rockton. She was a cashier at Winnebago SuperValu for over twelve years. Deb enjoyed cooking, sewing, rubber stamping, swimming in the family's pool and dearly loved spending time with her family. Her family would like to thank UW Madison for their treatment and care.
Deb is lovingly survived by her husband, Jeff Pearson; children, Christopher, Kyle, Ashley and Noah Pearson, all of Winnebago; mother, Catherine (Leon) Jamison of Machesney Park; three brothers; three sisters; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Nancy (Gary) Wilson; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law and many special friends.
She was predeceased by her father Joe Jennings and father-in-law, Ronald Pearson.
Service is at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, in New Life Bible Church, Route 20 at Hoisington Road, Winnebago, with Pastor Tim Spickler officiating. Burial in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2008, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago.
