Rockford - Donna Mae "Nana" Plock, 67, of Rockford, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, July 20, 2007, in her home, after a sudden illness. Born March 11, 1940, in Rockford, the daughter of Carl and Grace (Schreiber) Winche. She graduated from West High School in 1958. Donna married James Plock on March 27, 1965, in Rockford. Donna lived for her grandchildren. She trusted in the Lord and was a faithful member of the Berean Baptist Church for over 30 years. Donna and Jim served on the church bus ministry for many years. She loved taking pictures, gardening and traveling.
Donna is lovingly survived by her husband Jim Plock of Rockford; son Brad (Dawn) Plock of Leaf River; daughter Brenda (Bob) Squires of Pecatonica; grandchildren, Allison and Holly Plock, Jordan Hammil, and Jared and Andrew Squires; brother, Ivan (Linda) Winche of Pecatonica; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Ellen and Don Bobbitt of Indiana.
Donna was predeceased by her parents, and brother-in-law, Dick Plock.

Service is at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2007, in Berean Baptist Church, 5626 Safford Road, in Rockford, with visitation 10:00 a.m. until service time; the Rev. Melvin Swanson will officiate. Burial in Willwood Burial Park, in Rockford. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2007, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago.
