Obituary for Harriett Elizabeth Falconer
Winnebago Harriett Elizabeth Falconer, 85, of Winnebago passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born October 18, 1931 in Winnebago the daughter of William Art and Hilda (Hieronimus) DeVoe. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 1949. Harriett married Warren Budd Lester Falconer on April 6, 1951 in Belvidere. She worked as a church secretary at Second Congregational Church in Rockford for 24 years retiring 1994. A lifelong member of the Winnebago United Methodist Church. She enjoyed needle craft, reading and using her computer for online shopping and following her family on Facebook.
Harriett is lovingly survived by her children, Michael (Sandy M.) Falconer of Winnebago, Sandy K. (Sue Theden) Falconer of North Granby, CT, Karen (Denny) Gunderson of Duvall, WA, Kevin (Kyle) Falconer of Winnebago; grandchildren, Christopher Falconer, Shaun Falconer, Dale Falconer, Katie Fierros, Stephen Gunderson, Jessica Moyer, Shannen Brown, Chelsea Falconer; six great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, Budd; four brothers; two sisters.

Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago with Pastor Donald Plock of the Winnebago United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Winnebago Cemetery near Winnebago.
