Beloved Son
Byron - Jason Wayne Coy, 21, of Byron, died early Sunday morning, November 20, 2005, in FHN Memorial Hospital, in Freeport, resulting of injuries from an automobile accident. Born January 15, 1984, in Dixon, the son of Joseph W. Coy and Karla (Ledbetter) Coy Schindler. He graduated from Byron High School in 2002 and then attended Rock Valley College. Jason was in partnership with his father at Seward Heating Air Conditioning. He was an avid sports lover, enjoying golf and bowling, besides being a big Dallas Cowboy fan. Jason was friends with everyone, always putting them at ease with his smile, and will be greatly missed.
Jason is lovingly survived by his father, Joe (Mita) Coy of Seward, mother, Karla (Matt) Schindler of Winnebago, brother, Sgt. Matthew Coy of Winnebago, stepbrother, Steven McBrien Escobar of Chicago, paternal grandparents, James and Julianna Coy of Dixon, maternal grandfather, William Ledbetter of Quincy, aunts, Jeanie Ford of Dixon, Mary (Henry) Eisenberg of Dixon, Cheryl Lempke of Rock Falls, Kimberly (Tim) Krug of Oregon and Sylvia Michalski of Chicago, uncles, John (Marcie) Ledbetter of Lake Havasu, Ariz. and Randy (Dawn) Ledbetter of Ringold, Ga., cousins, Erik and Justin Pitman, Josh and Leslie Ledbetter and, Adam and Nicole Eisenberg, and his new extended family, the Dennis and LaLonii Schindler family of Rockford.
Jason is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Karen Ledbetter.

Service is at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005, in New Life Bible Church, Route 20 at Hoisington Rd, Winnebago, with Pastor Tim Spickler officiating. Burial in Franklin Grove Cemetery in Franklin Grove. Visitation 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2005, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago.
