Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Granddaughter

Lake Geneva, Wis. - Jessica "Jessie" L. Border, 26, of Lake Geneva, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Born September 6, 1988, in Rockford, the daughter of Michael and Susan (Patrick) Jacobson. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 2007. Jessie married Justin Border on July 19, 2013, in Middle Creek Presbyterian Church. She was a life event coordinator, working with seniors with Alzheimer's disease, at Our House Memory Care, Whitewater, Wis. Jessie was an active member of Middle Creek Presbyterian Church, having served as Sunday school superintendent for a few years. She loved playing softball, baking, sewing, crafting, and watching the stock car races at Rockford Speedway. Having a caring spirit, with a warm smile, Jessie loved helping anyone in need. Most importantly, she was a loving, devoted mom, and will be greatly missed by her family.

Jessie is lovingly survived by her husband, Justin and sons, Nathan and Owen Border, of Lake Geneva; parents, Michael (Karen) Jacobson of Machesney Park and Sue Jacobson of Rockford; sisters, Melissa Jacobson of Rockford and Katlyn Jacobson of Calif.; nephew, Cory Jacobson of Rockford; grandparents, Maurice and Sally Patrick of Rockford and Rita Gocken of Gresham, Ore.; stepsister, Sarah (Josh) Peterson of Rockton; stepbrother, Matthew (Chelsey) Ditto of Loves Park: parents-in-law, Ellis and Esther Border of Lake Geneva; brother-in-law, Matthew (Kim) Border of Elkhorn, Wis.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Information

Service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, in, Middle Creek Presbyterian Church, 12473 Montague Rd, Winnebago, with former pastor, the Rev. Keith Jones, officiating. Burial in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago.
