Byron Josephine Jo Weber, 84, of Byron died Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Rockford Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Born April 19, 1932 in Rockford the daughter of Stuart Drain and Helen Rebecca (Bunker) Love. She graduated from Byron High School in 1950. Jo married Linn William Weber on April 19, 1951 in Middle Creek Presbyterian Church near Winnebago.
Jo is lovingly survived by her husband of 65 years, Linn Weber of Byron; sons, Richard (Kathleen) Weber of Lanark, David (Deborah) Weber of Winnebago; daughter, Polly (Keven) Hoover, Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Layla (Nate) Atherton of Lanark, Nicole (Jon) Palmer of Winnebago, Amanda (Todd) Jennings of Monroe Center, Kelli (Quinn) Virgil of Oregon, Morgan (Bill) Clift of Tallahassee, FL, Kyle Hoover and fianc Kate Slack of Loveland, CO; nine great-grandchildren; brother, James (LeeAnn) Love of Byron; sisters, Jane (Russell) Pierson of Lockport, IL, Katherine (James) Jacobsen of Peoria; several nephews and nieces; special friend, Denise (Galen) Bennett of Byron.

Memorial visitation 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago. Cremation rites accorded.
