Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather
Winnebago - Kenneth H. Bokker, 69, of Winnebago, died Friday, August 1, 2014, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 20, 1944, in Rockford, the son of Harry and Evelyn (Farnham) Bokker. Ken married Carol Ann Johnson on August 26, 1967, in Beloit. Wis. She died on May 7, 2008. He married Susan Streich on May 15, 2014, in Las Vegas. Ken worked for Rockford Products for 17 years and then became a trucker for Central Transport and other various firms. In addition he worked for Karl Heeren as needed for many years. Ken was a member of the Teamsters for 12 years, Rock County Garden Tractor Pullers, and ATV and Garden Tractor Pullers. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, going to the casinos, participating in tractor pulling, wintering in Arizona, and traveling cross-country seeing the sights.
Ken is lovingly survived by his wife, Sue; daughters, Renee (Michael) Storey of Pecatonica and Lucinda "Cyndy" (Jeffrey) Marcello of Lombard; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Jacob Storey of Pecatonica and Justin Marcello of Lombard; sister, Delores Bellars of Pecatonica; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his parents and sisters, Donna Woolever and Marilyn Bolton.

Service is at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Terry Theiss, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Pecatonica, officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2014, in the funeral home.
