
Obituary for Kenneth L. Goettsch
Rockford - Kenneth L. Goettsch, 54, of Rockford, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 23, 1957, in Rockford, the son of Harold and Jean (Boomer) Goettsch. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 1975. Ken married Laurie Mulcahey on February 27, 1995, in Rockford. He was a machinist at Seward Screw Products for 38 years. Ken was an avid Washington Nationals and Buffalo Bills fan and loved gardening and trips to Monroe with his family.
Ken is lovingly survived by his wife, Laurie; son, Kyle; sister, Linda (Wally) Tilleman; brothers, Raymond (Mary) and Stan (Reva) Goettsch; mother-in-law, Judy Mulcahey; several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents; three uncles; and father-in-law, James Mulcahey.

Gathering of friends and family from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago. Cremation rites were accorded.
