Obituary for Lenora Doris Clinite
Rockford – Lenora Doris Clinite, 81, of Rockford, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. Lenora was born January 14, 1937 in Rockford the daughter of Raymond Harry and Doris Mildred (Sawtelle) Daubert. She attended East High School. Lenora married Rodney Thomas Clinite on September 29, 1967 in Rockford. Lenora was a homemaker and most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lenora is survived by her children, Thomas Clinite of Grandview, MO, David (Janet) Clinite of Rockford, Douglas (Kathleen) Clinite of Gulf Shores, AL, Christine Krom of Wenzhou, China, Barbara (Robert) Behn of Perkasie, PA, Karen Melton of Rockford; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Dana (Suzy) Daubert of Roscoe; several nephews and nieces.
Lenora is predeceased by her husband Rodney Clinite; sons, Kyle Gillingham, Keith Gillingham; granddaughter, Dana Gillingham; brothers, David Daubert, Gary Daubert.
Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., at Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago with Pastor Cory Whitford of Riverside Community Church in Rockford officiating. Interment at Flora Cemetery near Kirkland. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
