
Obituary for Lois E. Cunningham Schultz
Winnebago - Lois E. Cunningham Schultz, 72, of Winnebago, died Sunday, August 3, 2014, in Provena St. Anne Center, Rockford. Born November 11, 1941, in Rockford, the daughter of Robert J. and Edna M. (Norup) Cunningham. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 1959 and Rockford School of Cosmetology in 1961. Lois married James W. Schultz on December 17, 1961, in First Presbyterian Church, Winnebago. From her home, she operated her own hair salon for over 30 years. Lois cherished taking care of her family, being a wife, mom and grandma.
Lois is lovingly survived by her sons, Brad (Sandee) Schultz of Mabelvale, Ark., and Scott (Lori) and Andy (Jody) Schultz, both of Winnebago; grandchildren, Brandie (Tommy) Sanders and Rachel Schultz, Nicholas and Neil Schultz, Nicholas (Stephanie) Vettore, Joshua McNames, Kelsey Phillips, and Joseph Schultz; great-grandson, Gunnar Vettore; brother, Warren (Barb) Cunningham; sister, Alice (Howard) Binger; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jim, on March 6, 2012; and brothers, Duane "Dewey", Allen and Raymond "Charlie" Cunningham.
Funeral Information
Visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014, with private service following, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with Pastor Gary Turner, of New Life Bible Church, Winnebago, officiating. Cremation rites were accorded.
