
Seward - Lori K. "Babe" Lovett, 53, of Seward, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, in her home, after a courageous and graceful battle with ALS. Born October 23, 1960, to Ivan L. and Darla J. (Zimmerman) Lovett. Graduated from Winnebago High School in 1978. Married Craig R. Schweinler on July 29, 1998, in Rockford. Diagnosed in April, 2012, she had symptoms since the fall of 2010. Medically forced into retirement from Forest City Gear in August, 2012. She was a true blue Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed NASCAR, IceHogs, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, board games, and sitting around a bonfire.
Lori is lovingly survived by her husband, Craig; mother, Darla; brothers, Duane (Elizabeth) and Brian (Betty) Lovett; sister, Kris (Pete) Little; stepchildren, Joe (Jennifer), Corey and Brandon Schweinler; grandmother, Lusetta Zimmerman; mother-in-law, Eileen Wheeler; brother-in-law, Cevin Schweinler; sister-in-law, Candy Schweinler; stepgrandchildren, Dillan and Jenna Schweinler; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her father, Ivan on September 10, 2003; grandparents, Roy and Lucille Lovett and Ken Zimmerman; father-in-law, Charles Schweinler; and sister-in-law, Cheri Sowle.

Funeral Information
Memorial service is at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago. Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment of cremated remains at a later date in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery, Pecatonica. Visitation 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in the funeral home.
