Beloved Mom and Grandma
Rockford - Margaret "Pat" Ann Garvin, 77, of Loves Park and longtime Rockford resident, died Tuesday afternoon, December 27, 2005, in her home, after a lengthy illness. Born December 31, 1927 in Freeport, the daughter of Henry and Agnes (Dietrich) Boekholt. She attended school in Pecatonica. Pat married Frank C. Garvin on December 20, 1947, in Rockford. Frank died March 1, 1988. Pat was an assembler for Unison Industries of Rockford for 16 years. She attended Messiah Lutheran Church.
Pat is lovingly survived by her daughter, Shirley (Frank) Eubank of Winnebago, son, James (Gina) Garvin of Minneapolis, MN, ten grandchildren, Jonas, Ciara, Noah, Samuel and Caleb Garvin, Joshua and Jessyka Mullen, Alexes and Duston Faulkner and Austynn Eubank.
Pat was also predeceased by her parents and twin sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Fishel.
Funeral Information
At Pat's request, cremation rites were accorded. Family and friends are invited to a gathering in her daughter's home at 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2005.
