LOVING WIFE, MOM AND GRAMMI

Belvidere - God called Marjorie L. "Marge" (Quick) Branson, 73, to Heaven on Friday, October 30, 2015, from her home, due to ovarian cancer. Born March 7, 1942, in Rockford, the daughter of Clement B. and Lois R. (Schulz) Quick. Graduated from East High School in 1960. Marge married Harold R. "Butch" Branson on January 7, 1967, in Belvidere. She worked at Rockford Products and retired from Belvidere School District 100. Marge liked to travel, especially spending winters in South Padre Island, Texas, going to the casinos and dearly loved time with her family.

Marge is lovingly survived by her husband, Harold; daughter, Kimberly S. (Arturo "Ali") Romero of Rockford; granddaughter, Elena Lois "Elenita" Romero of Rockford; stepdaughters, Santa (Karl) Arvidson of Rockford and Maria (Brenton) Brownfield of Peoria; step-great-grandson, Callum Arvidson of Rockford; niece Cindy (Lyndon) Genandt of Durand; nephews, Walt (Diana) Quick of Winnebago and Fred (Denise) Quick of Mountain Home, AR; other numerous nieces and nephews; and special neighbors and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Ronald Quick.

Funeral Information

Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, in Highland Garden of Memories, Belvidere, Pastor Tim Spickler, of New Life Bible Church, Winnebago, officiating. Visitation 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2015, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago.
