Rockton – Mary El.Lisa Wallis, 59, formerly of Rockford, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Born March 27, 1959 in Baraboo, WI the daughter of Matias Espinoza and Anna Mae (Green). Graduated from Baraboo High School in 1977. El.Lisa married Victor Wayne Wallis on July 10, 1981 in Rockford. El.Lisa was self-employed as El.Lisa’s Home Care From Top To Bottom in home cleaning and landscaping. She loved fishing, camping, Harley Davidson motorcycle riding and taking care of her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, singing, outdoor cooking, animals and spending time with her family.
El.Lisa is survived by her husband, Victor Wallis of Rockton; children, Stephen (Jessica) Espinoza of Rockford, Esperansa (Kyle) Moore of Rockton; grandchildren, Stephen, Alexis, Angelina, Dominic and Aiden Espinoza, Dayton Lee Hooper, Deysi and Kalisa Moore; great-grandson, Brayden Espinoza; four brothers; five sisters; several nephews and nieces; her dog Lucy.
El.Lisa is predeceased by her mother Anna Mae Brooks.
Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, with a visitation starting 10:00 a.m. at Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago with Pastor Wendell L. Maynard of Firstborn Ministries in Loves Park officiating. Interment at Winnebago Cemetery near Winnebago. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
