
Obituary for Olive M. "Ollie" Runyard
Winnebago - Olive M. Runyard, 92, lifelong resident of Winnebago, died Thursday morning, February 4, 2010, in Medina Nursing Center, Durand, after a short illness. Born May 16, 1917, in Littleton. Married Ivan M. Runyard on August 11, 1935, in Belvidere. Worked at a variety of places, including Kasch's Royal Blue Grocery for many years. Longtime member of Winnebago United Methodist Church and its UMW. She enjoyed fishing and lake vacations, reading, crocheting, card clubs and visiting with her friends.
Ollie dearly loved her many hours with her family, including her children, Grant (Rosemary) Runyard of Winnebago and Lila (Charles) Behmer of Durand; grandchildren, Debra (Brian) Richter, Brad (Karen) Runyard, Karen (Mark) Manalli, Laurie (Bob) Slocum and Andy Behmer; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; Barb Neumann, dear friend, like a daughter; and dear friends, Jeanette Hodgdon and Eleanor Sass.
She was predeceased by her husband on February 22, 1986 and parents, Oral and Zelma Prescott.

Service is at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2010, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Rick Neblock, pastor of Winnebago United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2010, in the funeral home.
