Obituary for Robert L. "Bob" Sterner
Hollis, NY - Robert L. "Bob" Sterner, 45, of Hollis, NY, formerly of Rockford, died Wednesday afternoon, July 11, 2007, in Lenox Hill Hospital, NY, after a short illness. Born January 20, 1962, in Rockford, the son of James H. and Patricia A. (Stuckey) Sterner, Sr. Bob was a machinist in the family business before moving to New York, where he was employed by Liberty Brass.
Bob is lovingly survived by his father, James Sterner, Sr. of Rockford; brothers, James Sterner, Jr. of Rockford, Mark Sterner of Winnebago and Matthew Sterner of Iron River, Mich., sister, Laura (Richard) Mason of Winnebago; special nieces, Kristen and Kamryn Mason of Winnebago and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Sterner, on August 8, 1995.
Funeral Information
Service is at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2007, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with visitation from 10:00 a.m., until service time; the Rev. Rick Neblock, pastor of Winnebago United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial in Willwood Burial Park, in Rockford.
