Winnebago - Robert Pete "Bob" Mueller, 82, of Winnebago, died Friday evening, January 22, 2010, in his home, after a lengthy illness. Born September 15, 1927, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Pius "Pete" and Flora (Lippold) Mueller. Attended school in Webster Groves, Mo and then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Robert married Gladys Reints on June 5, 1954, in Rockford; they farmed together in rural Pecatonica for 43 years. In addition, Robert was employed as a machinist at Twin Disc for 30 years and was a member of the UAW and Winnebago United Methodist Church. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert is lovingly survived by his wife, Gladys Mueller of Winnebago; children, Mark (Beverly) Mueller of Trezevant, Tenn., Donna Mueller of Winnebago and Denise (William) Alldritt of Pecatonica; grandchildren, Daniel (Amber), Paul (Becky) and Victoria Mueller, Cora Mueller, and Nathan, Lilly and Lindsay Alldritt; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Brilye Mueller; brother, Carl (Linda) Mueller and sister-in-law, Fern Mueller, both of Pecatonica; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Walter Mueller.

Private Service on Monday, January 25, 2010, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Rick Neblock, pastor of Winnebago United Methodist Church in Winnebago, officiating. Burial in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery in Pecatonica.
