
Obituary for Sandra K. Booth
Mount Morris - Sandra K. Booth, 66, of Mount Morris, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in P.A. Peterson Center for Health, Rockford, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Born May 26, 1949, in Rockford, the daughter of Earl and Vera (Shadden) Tracey. She attended school in Winnebago. Sandy married Earl Leon "Lee" Booth on July 8, 1966, in Rockford, later they divorced. While taking care of her family, she was a school bus driver, and later served as a C.N.A. Sandy was a talented artist, with a specialty in drawing and painting with watercolors. Loving the outdoors and animals, she enjoyed fishing and creating natural centerpieces from her nature outings. Sandy was a wonderful, caring mother, and a favorite of her grandchildren, embracing the child within her, interacting on their level. Christmas was always a special gathering of family.
Sandra is lovingly survived by her children, Scott (Laura) Booth, Tammy (Frank) Kletecka, Tonya (Mark) Branthaver and Sean (Kristina) Booth; nine grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Dawn) Tracey and David (Rita) Tracey; sister-in-law, Joanne Tracey; several nieces and nephews; and dear dog, Minnie. She was predeceased by her parents; former husband, Lee Booth; brother, Wayne Tracey; sisters; Sharon and Wanda Tracey; and niece, Amanda Tracey.

A gathering of friends and family from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago. Cremation rites have been accorded.
