Winnebago - Sarah A. Conery, 56, of Winnebago, died Thursday, February 6, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her beautiful family, after battling a long illness. Born February 21, 1957, in Rockford, to Frank and Barbara (Buker) Bennett. She was a 1976 graduate of Auburn High School. Sarah married John E. Conery on November 4, 1978, in Rockford. She was a manager at UPS for 25 years. Sarah enjoyed antiquing and all outdoor activities, including gardening, camping and swimming.
Sarah is lovingly survived by her husband, John; son, Jacob; grandson, Brayden; daughter, Lindsey (fianc, Lance McKinney); sister, Susan Engelke; brother, Rex (Sherri) Bennett; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral Information
Service is at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2014, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until service time; Pastor Tim Spickler of New Life Bible Church, Winnebago, will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
