Beloved Grandpa
Rockford -Wayne May, 63, of Rockford, died Sunday morning, November 12, 2006, in his home. Born February 7, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the son of J. C. and Cleo (Dabbs) May. He was a factory worker in Rockford for many years. Wayne enjoyed camping and fishing.
Wayne is survived by grandchildren, Amber, Charles and David May, all of Rockford, brother, Bruce May of Sterling and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne is predeceased by his parents, sons, Anthony D. May on June 30, 2001 and David W. May on October 24, 2001 and daughter, Michelle L. May on August 28, 1978, brothers, Gerald and Eugene May and sister, Imma Jean Lider.

Service is at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2006, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with the Rev. Steve P. Shullanberger, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park, in Rockford. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2006, in the funeral home.
