
Obituary for Roger A. Adams
Ridott - Roger A. Adams, 57, of Ridott, died Thursday evening, November 8, 2007, from injuries sustained in an accident. Born January 2, 1950, in Green County, Tenn., the son of James T. Adams and Carla Adams Morrison. He graduated from Winnebago High School in 1969. Roger was employed by Kelly Springfield Tire Co., in Freeport for 31 years. He was a member of the Moose Club in Freeport and NRA. An outdoorsman, Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising chickens. He was an avid western paperback book reader.
Roger is survived by his sons, Jimmy Adams of Freeport and Jeffrey Adams of Ridott; grandchildren, Chastity, Samantha and Mikayla of Freeport; daughter-in-law, Tonya Lisk of Freeport; companion, Nancy Bricklen of Ridott; mother, Carla Morrison of Rockford; brothers, Wayne (Lisa) Adams of Portland, Tenn. and Dennis Morrison of Rockford; sister, Juanita (Richard) Keen of Westmoreland, Tenn. and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Roger was predeceased by his father, J. T. Adams; stepfather, Bill Morrison and brother, David Adams.
Funeral Information
Service is at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2007, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with visitation from 1:00 p.m., until service time; Pastor Tim Spickler, pastor of New Life Bible Church in Winnebago, will officiate. At Roger's request, cremation rites were accorded.
