Obituary for Jeanette Marie Hamilton
Rockford - Jeanette Marie Hamilton, 74, of Rockford, passed away December 31, 2006, in her home with her family by her side. Jeanette was a giving person right to the end. She was a full time mother and grandmother first and anything else second. She loved the Lord and her family. Jeanette was born on June 18, 1932, the daughter of William and Catherine (Netawageishic) Dick, in Sand Point, Ontario and raised in MacDiarmid, Ontario. She moved to Rockford in 1956.
Jeanette is survived by former husband Harlan Hamilton; three children Clifton Hamilton, Sharene Hamilton and Jennifer Good all of Rockford; five grandchildren Brandon and Briana Hamilton, Keith Rosado, Kyle Hamilton and Jenna Good; brothers Edgar Dick, Leonard Dick and Bobby Dick; sisters Nancy Blanchard, MaryJane Scholonkowsky and Valerie Levesque; various nieces and nephews, and close friend Betty Morrison.
Jeanette was predeceased by her parents; brother Albert Dick; grandparents Joseph and Mary Netawageishic, and all her cousins.

Service is at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago, with Pastor Tim Spickler, of New Life Bible Church, In Winnebago, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park in Rockford. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2006 in the funeral home.
